Default 2001 Mexican Ram Charger o2 Sensor?

I have a mexican ram charger 2001 5.2l automatic and i am having trouble finding the upstream front sensor.

Everytime i go to auto zone for a part i always tell them to look for parts through a ram 1500 2001 american since those parts always fit mines(same truck).

However, their sensor is a bosch and they dont sell ngk or denso which is what i want.

So my question is can anybody give me a direct link to an exact o2 senor that will fit mines without any splicing, just a direct fit oe style front upstream sensor. Denso preferably.

have you checked rockauto? they will most likely be able to get you a NTK brand o2 sensor and at a reasonable price. if your lucky it should also not even take 2 days to arrive.

that is what rock auto says is the upstream denso brand o2 sensor. i just don't know if there is a difference between it and ntk brand. i know it says OE style were as with the ntk one they have OE type. wonder if it make a big difference?

Ive read that both ntk and denso make the good ones for the ram so ill go with either one but i do not know exactly which one to go with. I do know i need the upstream sensor and i want it to be oem so it comes off and on quickly with no cutting.

Depending on when in '01 your truck was made, the sensor may not fit. I bought a post cat sensor, wrong plug style. Turns out at some point dodge changed around a few things on the '01 and the plug was one of them. That may be why you get parts that don't fit. NTK does make a sensor for both plugs... I just cant remember the part number.

Ok ive narrowed it down to two the 234-4077 Denso and the 234-4769 denso.

Both are upstream but one says 'Except california emissions' and the other says "with california emissions".

Whats the difference? My truck is not made in california if that means something.

i think the easiest thing would be to find the connector and see which connector yours has. also don't forget to check out the Rock Auto disc. code thread. it can save you 5% off your order.
