Actually i still know some seniors that went to my high school(I'm only 19) but they said the auto shop has the snap on scanner and I can come in on Thursday to hook it up but I dropped the valve body they gave me the wrong governor pressure solenoid so the new one won't be in until tomorrow the governor pressure sensor is 100 dollars itself and mine is just a piece of plastic so idk I'm just going to try to clean it or should I get a new one? Also the od and tcc solenoid are together on a metal bar and I have it but the harness that came with it is way different they said to just unhook the harness that came with it and plug in the old one but once again I'm using used parts that could be causing the problem and I don't like that and I picked up a speed output sensor today I've been using my phone so if I can get on a computer ill upload some pics

 

At some point the connectors for the solenoids appears to have changed. Don't remember what year model the change was. Someone else may recall. Pics would be great. You can upoad to dropbox from phone and post link. Don't know if photobucket supports smart phone uploads....

The autoshop scanner would be a great resource! These can give a person more data than you can imagine! I bought my MTG 2500 on ebay for a couple hundred and more modules and keys since then. probably $400 in it now, but it has been a great tool to have for a number of vehicles. Buying just the scanner and only the module for your Ram could be done for less than $200. Workd for engine and tranny issues.

 

I think I'm done with the truck I've done nothing but take care of it and spend all my money on it and it's not worth it anymore changed out the solenoids and cleaned everything put a new speed sensor in it and adjusted the bands and now it doesn't even shift at all plus I have 3 codes now p0753 shift solenoid a circuit electrical p1763 manufacturer control transmission and pending p0711trans fluid temp sensor a ckt range/perf

 

I was just reading up on the code that cause the freeze frame p0753 and someone with a 2000 took his into the dealer they said the pcm was bad so he went and changed the solenoids fluid and filter but it made no difference he knew someone with the same truck year and options so they switched pcms well his trans worked now and his friends didn't it ended up being his pcm and had it sent in to get re manufactured

 

so its been 5000 miles and have not had any problems with the truck trans shifts nice and smooth when im cruising and will throw me back in my seat at wot the only thing i have noticed is that it seems like i have more torque i barley have to hold the brakes to get the wheels spinning and have roasted them past 2nd gear brake torquing i have not dared to go to 3rd as i dont want to destroy a set of 900 dollar hankooks also when theres any wetness on the ground the wheels will break free and **** the person off that was behind me. i alsmost got rear ended pulling out in front of someone (with plenty of space between us) because it was wet and the tires were just spinning. i recently bought a laptop so im going to post some pics of the truck let me know what you guys think

number 1 wtf does not make sense? i just came back to the thread to say its been running good and get some feedback on my truck. I didn't say hey gdstock come on here and be a *******. number 2 i fixed it the day after i said i was done i am 19 my mood changes every other day. number 3 once again im 19 and have done every single little thing to my truck myself and i will line up next to your truck anyday but unfortunately i live in Michigan. number 4 if your going to be a dick stay off of my thread.
