First 4wd? Is it new to you or have you had it a while?

Far from first 4x4, but yea truck is new to me. Got it for work and tested 4wheel but it was dry so only check to make sure it was engaging. Had some snow and while turning it felt like the front wanted to run around really clunky

Possible bad u-joints? Always clunking or just once it engages?

Not so much clunking, but feels like my front end is loose somewhere only in 4wheel. Almost like each wheel is fighting the other

Start by checking the u-joints in the driveshaft from the transfer case to the front axle and the u-joints in the front axle
