Default 1997 Dodge 1500 Club Cab

That is my new dodge. I had one a while back. I blew the 360 twice and second time wasnt goin to pay the money to get it replaced so i traded it in.. I was a dumbass and was dragging the truck. I admit it how stupid it was specailly because i had to drive a saturn past year... Finally got me this one. I think i got a steal of a deal. 1500$ for it. No rust cept bottom of the doors. I think the whole undercarage has coating on it to stop rust... Has lots of option like the temp.. Runs perfect shifts perfect. Only bad thing i have noticed is the fuel gauge does not work. Has gas in it but doesnt work... Brand new tires too! nother down side is 235k miles.

Does the gauge test when you turn the key to start? Sending unit might have given up the ghost.

When you turn the key to Start, the fuel gauge, along with the rest, should sweep their needles from one extreme to the other. (expect the speedo, and tach, I think...)

"Give up the ghost" = Died.

Well it was working as soon as I filled it up. But the gauge keeps going haywire... so idk what to think about that... tires seem oversized because I don't have full turning clearance... em great truck. Its awesome. TONS of the options!!!! I think I got a great deal on the truck

Well I got a great deal. Rebuilt jasper motor and everything is clean no leaks underguarder with rhino liner. Napa mechanics love my truck. They said everything is excellent
