Default 94 cummins front axle in a 98 gas 2500

Hello all, I'm new to the forums, I have a question right off to the start
Will my truck be compatable with this axle? I've looked everywhere and cant find too much about it except that they should since they are 2nd generation.
I bent my control arm housing last friday in a snowstorm and bought another axle out of a 94 cummins but now that i have it under my truck ready to be bolted it doesnt seem like everything will be straight but I'm not 100% sure since I'm putting in the axle by myself and have no help of holding it while i check stuff.

thanks

Should be the same axle. There may be some minor mounting differences, but, should just bolt right in. Stick it in, bolt it up, set the truck back on the tires, and see how it looks.

One thing to note though.... it MUST be the same gear ratio is your rear, or you are going to be breaking even more expensive parts.

if it is not the same ratio do not use 4wd until the rear matches the front
