Better get one while you can if you're gonna get one at all. I got the last one using the link dhvaughan posted above.

I wonder if this is the only company making an all-aluminum radiator for this application?

TCP make e-fan and shroud kits for our trucks... they also make custom ali radiators for all sorts of vehicles, so I see no reason for them not to make one for our trucks (if asked).

Don't know if that really answers the question. That place 'sells' radiators, not necessarily 'makes' radiators. Who is the manufacturer of the radiator they sell? For example, I bought my CSF radiator from www.alumorad.com several years ago.

Without a doubt you will be able to get all AL radiators even when CSF discontinues the 2969 as you can now, the question is price.
Custom made rads are not cheap. We probably lucked out that the 2969 could be had for $200 shipped. It seems constructed well enough to last a while.

I know local parts stores want $250-300 for plastic endcap rads (the same ones you can get online or ebay for $110-$140 shipped, same as in exact same part number). I haven't talked to any local hot rod or machine shops but I'd expect $350-450+ for a custom al radiator, making the one from RadiatorExpress in #15 a good value.

I wonder if I could take them my old plastic endcap rads and have Al end caps welded on?

FYI, was just able to find a CSF 2969 all-aluminum radiator just a couple of days ago for a friend's 2001 Ram 3500 4x4 via Amazon.com. It was supposed to be the last one in the warehouse out of NY for $185.95. Went ahead and ordered it and received it within 2 days. Seems there are still a few left from a couple of eBay vendors, too.

You can get a radiator with a lifetime warranty! I bought one from the crappy local part stores and it failed a few days past the warranty(one year if i recall). Got one from radiator.com and it has not had one issue in about ten years.

Personally, not a huge fan of lifetime warranties. In general, if the company goes out of business (which tends to be pretty common these days), goodbye to that warranty for the part. I'd much rather find a decent all-aluminum radiator for this application, which will typically last much longer than plastic tank style radiators.

Just because it's all aluminum doesn't mean it's quality! The one i got from the parts store failed in the core (leak) in a years time. What's that telling you as far as quality? No telling what you will get just because someone welded on some aluminum sides. Had the one from radiator.com for about 10 years now and they are still in business. I would like to see someone utilize the the extra thickness of them and make one with more cooling capacity instead of aluminum sides. Have to get a V10 or diesel rad if you want that.
