Default Hid 55w Bi-xenon problem. Need some help

So lets cut right to it. I purchased a 55w bi-xenon hid kit with relay and for some reason it seems that the hi-beams are stuck on. The kit only uses one headlight plug for the relay and the relay feeds the 2 ballasts. In turn the passenger headlight plug is just hanging there not being used. The hi's are always on and when i click the hi's on from inside the cab the only thing that changes is the fogs go off bc the truck thinks the hi's are being activated when in reality the bulb stays the same. The only way i have figured out how to get the lows on is to hold the lever without actually clicking it(the way you would flash an oncoming vehicle). Anyone have any answers or suggestions for a problem like this? I've searched the topic but nothing seems to match my specific problem.

Here's the kit i purchased. http://www.ebay.com/itm/160927624871

Here's the lens' they are installed in. http://www.ebay.com/itm/170974340631...84.m1497.l2649

You might need to re-wire the org plug to match a 9007 plug, just open up the plug and move the wires around, no need to cut and crimp/solder them.

Is this what you did? Do the wires just pull out of the back of the plug?

I had to redo mine as I went to the sport headlights. You just open the blue connector/plug with a pick and then switch the wires around.

Mine is a sport but still has the 2 filament bulb(single bulb functions for hi's&lows). I believe this could be an easy fix i just don't want to ruin the factory clip.

One other thing i forgot to mention that it is doing, If the passenger side clip is left with nothing plugged into it the dash shows the hi-beam indicator at all times. Just for experimenting i plugged one of the factory halogen bulbs into that unused clip and the dash coordinates like it should but in both scenarios always stuck on hi's. Your theory suggests i might have a 9007 kit instead of 9004?

Just work at the clip with care and you will be OK. Once you change the wiring over the H beam indicator will work right.

merc is exactly right. you just have to switch the wire up on the relay plug going to the stock plug. i had previous experience from my dakota, but that truck only had one light in each housing compared to this one with 2 bulbs. so at the moment i only have low beam hids and fog lights but i think thats plenty bright.

How are you coming with your problem? I have the Hi/low in my 99. 55w 5000k. I was having problems with only one side going Hi/low. After many phone calls and trouble shooting, I removed one diode from the passenger side and it started working correctly on both sides and has been ever since. Go figure. HIDExtra had never heard of that fix. Whatever....it works and I am very happy!

I haven't been able to mess with it yet since the weather here has been nothing but rain since i installed them. I will post up and update you guys on what i come up with after i try merc's suggestion. The hi's are absolutely ridiculous paired with the clear lenses when compared to how crappy the stock stuff was though.
