Default hard start when @ running temp

My 97 1500 5.2L runs great but when it gets warmed up and i need to start it back up it feels like it wants to choke up. Sometimes it shuts back off. I think it is the speed control? The idle is about 500 -650 warm. I changed the spark plungs and wires.

Sounds almost like a timing issue. I'll move this to the Second Gen Ram Section for better exposure and further advice.

Clean throttle body, paying special attention to IAC valve/well. DIY in FAQ section for this.

Could also be the ECT or the o2 sensor. A Haynes manual and the service manual from the FAQ/DIY section, along with an inexpensive dvm will help you test all the various sensors.
