Default still axle crazy

Hi guys
Thanks for all the help about the axle bushing. Since then I have replaced the bushing twice. For some reason each bushing lasts about thirty to fourty miles and then back to the grinding noise. I try something new every time. Like changing gear oil, lining up the axles etc.the bushing just seems to melt or break. any new ideas? It is getting kind of old pulling the axle and cad unit every day or so. It snowed last night and I really need 4x4 but I am scared to use it. All your help will be greatly appreciated.

THANKS bentd

Are you lubing it up good before installation? I would consider hitting it with some bearing grease..... stays in place a bit better.

Any burrs on or in the axle parts that contact the bushing?

Gotta be a burr on there or some such then. They should last just this side of forever.
