I could have swore the peday came back up on my 97. Always struck me as strange, but it worked so I never gave it any thought.

My "peday" always comes back up.

It comes back up on 95 too. To me, as long as I feel the mechanism working and it holds when it needs to, it makes no difference. But to each his own!

My thanks to everyone who chimed in and confirmed the pedal question. I agree, if it's working and holding, it makes no difference...it just caught me off guard...EVERY other car/truck I've ever owned or driven over the last 27 years has operated the complete opposite of how this works....again, thanks for the help guys!
