I am in the middle of replacing my 5.2 with a 5.9. I have the 5.9 in and am putting everything back together. I am stuck on how the tranny lines were routed so they dont hit the fan up front going to the radiator. Could someone help me out please!! Thanks!

Also, what exactly is the little piece on the front left if your looking at the intake, that takes the two wire plug? It goes right into the intake.

 

That little piece with 2 wires is likely the temp sensor, but without a photo, it is just a guess. And tranny lines should only fit one way. There is a bracket on the front driver side of engine at the bottom that holds them before they cross over to pass side. They should be low enough to be far from the fan,
