Welp, Update time, waterpump is not going well. Im getting totaly pissed off! Fan clutch is not coming off the pump, its off the engine. pain inass, to top it off the impellers busted trying to hole the driver. Oh well its old waterpump anyways... Any ideas on how to get this fan off? I do not have naything to hold on to. just the bearing shaft inside the body.. Im figuring going to have to junk it right??
Has anyone heard of installing a regular flex fan, instead of the clutch or electric. Problem i am seeing is the fittin that takes the nut, how can I get around not getting a 120 clutch fan?
Thanks guys for bearing with me, Bud time.

the clutch fan will put less resistance on the engine than a straight fan. i wouldn't change it.
if the fan is stuck on the old water pump, and you're replacing the water pump, then either put the old water pump in a vise, or clamp on some vise grips, or wedge the impeller into something. have you got a big wrench that fits the fan nut, something like 36mm or large adjustable wrench.

Ok here is the situation the pump will not come off the clutch fan.. I have broken the fins off the pump trying to wrench the fan off ..
Im think Im going to have to replace the fan and clutch, If i cant get this apart.. ?? Question looking at the fan which way would i turn the nut to get it off ?

I'm almost positive it's CCW, the same as a normal nut. I want to say that it rotates opposite a normal fan, which is why it's not CW to remove. Don't quote me, I may be wrong.
I had the same problem while replacing my water pump, the clutch was frozen on the shaft. I used a pair of needle-nose pliers to hold the pump shaft. I opened it and shoved each side into the fins, and used a hammer to tap it in. You should soak the nut with some real penetrant-- acetone mixed with ATF fluid.
