Default mis-fire #4

noticed it has been running a little rough. through an engine light code #0304
mis-fire cylinder #4.
changed plugs....no change
changed wires....no change
changed cap......no change
changed rotor.....no change
after changing all that out i started it up and it through the same code.
have not tried swapping injector to another spot and see if it throws the same code like #0302 for cylinder #2
ohmed the injector. had 13.1 ohms, verified against another injector same 13.1ohms
so to me the injector is not bad, meaning dead.
going to store to get some sea foam, i hear WONDERS!!! about this. hoping this will clean the injector out and the others to.

any other suggestions? i have not done a compression test. avoiding that as i dont have a screw in type i have the you got hold onto super tight in hole one.
2000 1500 4X4 5.9ltr with 175k
hoping to not go the change the injector route yet. about $69 per. did just find some cheaper $20 but will do research on quality

I suggest you read the plenum sticky on top of the forum. As far as the seafoam goes, I'd use Techron plus in the fuel instead.

I'm also moving your thread to the tech section.

I doubt the injector is the problem, but I guess you have to start some where when trouble shooting.

little update. i checked the compression and it was good about 165psi compared to another cylinder and it had the same.
wife had a stethoscope and i placed on the injector and i can hear it ticking away. so its working.
had a budy of mine suggest tapping on the injector and maybe its clogged and tapping it may clear it up. wellllll that may have been the trick. took it for a test drive and wow is she strong now. ran good idled good so now time will tell if it throws the code again
