Default ok just finished my plenum and had a few questions

first of all thanks to all you guys who gave me advice on my plenum job. and thanks to whoever put together the sticky. I just finished doing my plenum job. I had a bad exhaust leak that I fixed while I had the truck in the garage. after I fixed the loud *** exhaust leak I noticed a few noises. I noticed a noise that I cant really pinpoint where its coming from but it sounds like a rod knock. anyone had that after a plenum job? I didn't notice the noise before the plenum job but im not saying it wasn't there. the other thing is what the hell is that thing mounted on the inside of my passenger fender that clicks and is it supposed to click??

Not sure on the knock.
But yes that "thing" (its called a purge solenoid) is supposed to click.

The plenum shouldnt change anything internally, aside from it will no longer burn oil like crazy. Sounds like you have another, non-related issue.

yeah I thought it was kinda strange that I just noticed it. I notice everything with my trucks. even things that aren't there.

p.s. sorry for the random lidms post. I walked away from my computer for 2 seconds and my 3 year old decided to join in the discussion

I do that too sometimes, but I don't have a 3 year old to blame, just Cpt. Morgan.

how dare you comment on my post with something like that. I am a beer man and the ONLY thing you should be drinking is miller or coors.
