Default Lifting truck weigh

When I lift the front of my truck up with my Service station hydralic jack. I lift the whole front two tires off the floor. I was wondering will a 1 1/2 jack be able to accomplish the same thing. Does anyone know how many est pounds the front end weighs???
Thanks ahead of time.

1 1/2 ton jack should lift it, but it may be marginal. I would not crawl under it. I use 3 ton minimum jack at home.

Those 1.5 ton jacks are good in a pinch, but I certainly wouldnt trust my life with one. Even with my 3 ton jack, I like to slide jackstands under the frame before I get under there. I'm not sure, but if I had to guess what a scale would say if you could just pick up the front end... maybe 2200 lbs. I think my truck weighs around 4k. Edit: I just read you have a 5.2, 2wd... That will reduce the weight you have up front, significatly. I had assumed for some reason that you had 4X4.
