Default Tailpipes too close to my shocks??????

my exhaust system is on but the tail pipes are quite close to my new pro comp shocks.... the heat has already started to melt the rubber boot but the actual piston for the shock isnt gettin like crazy hot... little warm but not super hot like the pipes... i got some header wrap (holy crap that stuff is $$$$$$$$) and wraped the sections that are the closest to the shocks.... the rubber boot is still melting ( i might cut them off .. not too much off roading for me anyway) but the piston is still not getting super hot.... should i worry about my shock pistons warping or damaging the shocks?

I kinda wondered the same about mine, theres about 1/2" from my pipe to my shock, and you can actually see where they have pumped into eachother a few times [&:]

i have a question, is this with stock exhaust? and can you run the procomps in any direction. if so, I would just turn them around to get them away from the pipes.

i would not think a lot of heat on shocks could be good, fluid and seals could be damaged.
probalby leak sooner
