Gota sawz-all it will be your best friend for doing this job. That drop pitman-arm is only good for 3-6 inches of lift, get new lower control arm cam bolts before you start the work. A t case clocking ring is needed for any lift over 7", you will also be pushing the front DS length to it's limits flex it out (truck) and it will pull apart. The tranny cross-member is also subject to a mod as well if you 4wd this truck.

Alright thanks man just cut the bolt in the gap of control arm space on each side and then it would fall is it what im thinking. And ya i might have to wait on putting the coil spacers on then and just run it with the 5 inch coils and that drop pitman arm was said to be for 3.5 to 8.

Dude no really coil spacers on top of lift springs, not good or safe to do. You can buy Sj 7" coils in 1500-2500 gas flavor or 2500-3500 V10 or Diesel 7" (these springs in a half ton will net about 8.5 inchs of lift) springs for about $225 down there much better/safer way to go.

I am sure you are going of the web site for the info about that drop arm, can you give me a link to it please so I can check it out for you.

Your truck looks clean from the pix try all the bolts first, like now. See what they do, most times they are a pita at the frame end especially the top ones. The other pita ones will be the lower fronts (cam bolts) not cheap.

I thought I should add this warning as well.

Under NO circumstances are SKYJACKER® coil springs to be used in conjunction with any type of
coil spring or spring tower block/spacer. The use of coil spring block/spacers will allow ANY coil
spring to exceed its designed stress and travel loads allowing it be overstressed, oversprung,
fatigued, and possibly break. SKYJACKER® warranty is void under any such application.

Interesting thanks. It looks just like the Sj 3-6 inch one, I will go out later and measure mine just to compare. I have 7" lift in mine so I kinda know what you can and can't get away with, if your not a big flexy type 4wd person you can get away without the clocking ring and just use the stock length drive-shaft, but you must be careful.

For control arm stuff yea that's about it. You will run into little things like the brake-line brackets that need to be modded or bent just odd's and end stuff. One tip I will add is unhook the front DS just make's thing's ez'er when changing springs when dropping the diff.

I bought my cam bolt's from the dealer, I have seen them posted on DF else where but I don't remember, try rock auto's web site. For the other one I had used one from another truck.
