Mopar Performance Chips
If you fill in dodge-talk minus the dash for those stars (took a guess), that link works. The forum censors the names of known competing forums.
He is referring to the Mopar Performance PCM. Its an entire replacement computer, not a chip.
A SCT from Hemifever will be better for multiple reasons.
1) The Mopar Performance PCM requires 91+ octane fuel all the time, period. Anything less and you will have engine ping and possibly other eventual issues. With the SCT, you can set it to 87 octane for regular fuel, and in 5 minutes or less be tuned for 91 octane or 93 octane, or for towing. Whatever you ask Hemifever for in the beginning (up to three tunes).
2) When it comes time to sell/trade-in/whatever the truck, you can detune to factory programming in less than 5 minutes with the SCT. With the Mopar Performance PCM, you either have to keep the old PCM lying around and swap them out when its time, or give the PCM away with the truck. Guarantee you that no one will want to pay extra for your "upgrade", especially with fuel prices at what they are now-a-days.
3) If something isn't quite right with the SCT, Sean (Hemifever) will work with you to fix it. If something isn't quite right with the Mopar Performance PCM, there is no modifying its programming.

That is along the line of what I was thinking. But I will always look at omething to learn!
I am sure if it was a good deal, I would have seen it on here already.
