Default Mopar Performance Chips

OK. I have been reading about tuners by hemifever and another company (forgot) and then read about the Mopar Performance Chip for my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 QC 5.9 with 46re trans.

I have cat removed and a cheap VX muffler and a spectre CAI. Simple stuff but hope to get shorty headers later.

Will this impact my transmission in anyway?

What exactly is the best thing for me if I am looking for a nice bump in low end power and MPG?

It most likely is just one of those useless chips for the iat. It's made for a Mopar but not , made by Mopar.
