Fuel Problem?

Default Fuel Problem?

My 2000, ram 2500 360 starts 108,000 mi starts up but then idles real low and when i give it gas, in park, it revs but then almost dies. The other day i started it up and it said that i had no gas fuel gauge was on E , after i just filled up. I shut it off and then started it again and it went away. could it be the fuel pump? thanks alot

i would check fuel psi, the gauge could be a problem with the sender.

I think you have two problems. It sound like the fuel pump is weak. As far as the guage showing empty, mine does the same thing now and then. I remember reading one time where the sending units could be a problem, but I figure as long as it keeps working the next time I turn it on I'm not going to worry about it.
