Default 1994 and 1999 ram wiring harness difference?

Are the wiring harness's any different between a 94 with a 5.2 and a 99 with a 5.2?

And what is the difference's between the transmissions on a 4x2 and 4x4?

Yes they're different. The older trans are rh (hydraulic) and the newer ones are re (electronic). I think injectors may be different. Also egr vs non egr...ect, ect.

No clue about the wiring harness.

4x4 transmission will have someplace for the transfer case to attach to, 4x2 won't.

Other than that it should be the same. 4x4 46RE is the same as a 4x2 46RE, of the same or exact replacement year anyway...

Of course the wiring harness is different too. 46rh vs 46re, not to mention OBD1 and OBD2.

Can I drop the 5.2 I have out of my 99 into a 94 that has a 5.2 in it?

The 94 injectors are still good, are where they go into the intake the same?

And the egr, what would be the issue there?

The tranny would stay, it would just be swapping the 5.2s from the two different years.

Swap the intake manifold and you'll be fine. Have you done any research here on DF?

Yes sir, not on the transmission but that is not my main focus.
I just wasnt exactly sure what all to search under. I will do some more on the intakes though, since you say that will be the issue.
