Default Best tuner for mpg

I've been looking into tuners lately, I know next to nothing about tuners and messing with the computer, what would be the best tuner to get the most mpg? mods so far are just flow master duals, and a home Made cai and shorty headers are on the list also but not yet, also, I can't spend like 700 dollars, I would have to be in the 3-400 dollar range any help would be appreciated

You buy a pre-tuned tuner from him. Email him and tell him what you're looking to get out of the tuner.

The SCT comes with the tunes loaded on it. When you get it you plug it into the OBD port and follow the directions that are on the screen. It will download the tune you have now, then upload whichever tune you choose.

What motor you have and what is your MPG average?

Tuner not gonna do much for mpg. If anything you'll use more fuel cause he tunes rich and you'll be stomping on the pedal cause you're trying to see if there really is any difference from before and you aren't sure you notice anything at all. You'll gain 20lbs of torque above 3500rpm which will not help fuel economy. SCT is a good product but not for stated purpose.

Yeah i have a SCT Tuner and i went from the 91 back to 87 tune. It actually makes you use alittle more gas i think. It does give an overall decent power increase but it sucks gas faster. I get about 10mpg with my truck, but i never fixed the plenum and am due for a tune up so that could be the problem.
