Leaking
I have had my truck for about 2 months now ('99 Ram 1500 5.9 4x4 QC). Since then is has had to get the plenum replaced, dealer did that under the warranty. So it then developed a misfire in cylinder 8, brought i back, and he attempted to fix it, he replaced the injector and clean the fuel rail. He said it seemed fine, when i went to pick it up, it still shook and rumbled during idle, then the next day the "check engine" light came on again with the same problem. I go out today to start it and i can smell gas i, so i kill the engine and pop the hood, and cylinder that is on the same side as 8 but the first one (i think it is 2) had an injector leak, and i just do not mean i dribble, i mean pouring out, it looked like it was coming out of the where the fuel rail meets the injector. So i am going to bring it up to the dealer again (it might lead to him buying it back from me under the "lemon law" (but then i would loose money because of sales tax, ect.). Does anyone know what is causing this to leak??? Something he did??? And the misfire??? Another mechanic thinks the misfire is still fuel related.
Thanks
Thanks
