Those pics are of one front diff housing and one rear diff housing?

yes, pictures are just for a referece about what i am talking about. The pumpkin housing i have in truck now looks like first big pic with 3 ribs and the second big pic is what the pumpkin on the one i just got looks like with just 1 rib. Took picks with iphone but cant figure out how to get them on here. Im guessing its alright cause everything else is the same on the axle except for the pumpkin

I'd say you are good to go regardless. If the new one has those gussets on the bottom, from housing to tube mount extension's like in the second big pic, it will be stronger.

Finally figured out the picture thing. as you can see top picture is whats in the truck with 3 ribs, bottom pic of one i just got with 1 rib

I think im good to go. Just wanted to make sure before i take the wire wheel to it and get it painted up then figure out its not right
