what damage will a bad front axel u-joint cause?

You'll need a 14mm 12 point x 1/2 drive impact socket. If loosening them doesn't break a regular POS socket, torqing them back to spec might.

thanks for yalls inputs. i got one side down and now one to go!! but go figure when i was pullin it apart i noticed the tie rod, wheel bearings and ball joint are all goin to s***. just my luck! Id imagiane the other side is just as bad. Looks like im gonna have my hands full and my pockets empty for a little while!!!

it is fine till the weekend I have has some in the shop that the caps are barely there and it has 3/4 inch play

I do these 2hrs for both keep the bearing on and use the ball joint press
