Default Lock Horn Chirp?

I was reading the owner's manual for my Dodge and it says the horn will chirp when you lock the doors but it needs to be activated by a dealer. Is there a way to do it yourself?

Only if you have a factory installed alarm system I'd imagine. Get one of these to find that info and more about your truck.

I thought there was a combination of key positing and button presses on the remote that toggled that feature.

I guess I'll have to find out, although I'm pretty sure it has it because it has pretty much every option available in 1998

You'll find out for sure if you get the build sheet from dodge using the link I gave
