I recently had my heater core replaced. The heat is now like an inferno, but my air conditioning settings blow hot too. It worked perfectly before the repair. I know there is freon in the system. Compressor is good. Also, the truck will not even blow outside temperature air. Always heat. Any suggestions?
my truck has the same problem since i bought it when i have the heat on even if the **** is on cool you can hear the door open(or shut) once the truck warms up and it only blows hot like lava hot... it sucks
You are both going to have to get a flashlight and another person (to move the blend ****) on the dash , while you look and see if the motor is turning the blend door(there is a space) so you'll see what I'm talking about when you look. If it move's but hardly want's to turn, the blend door inside the HVAC box is not installed correctly. If you see the motor just spin, then you need the heater treater fix.
Check first, But it won't take as long to do while the procedure is fresh in your head. You don't need to remove the dash completely out of the truck either if that's what you did the first time.
You are working on a 2001 not a 95 right ? The motor is down by the floor/tranny tunnel. Did you get some help and check like I described? You need to see if that motor is rotating and how much.
