I'm just going to toss this out here...you're going from a 2001, to a 1980. That's quite a difference and unless you're used to rolling old trucks, it's going to take some getting used to compared to your Dak.

I love my 76, it's a great play toy. Could I use it as a DD? Yes, but would I? Likely not.

Do I want you to get the Ram? Uh, yeah. But I'm also just throwing this out here as I just now thought of it.

I DD'd 70's dodge pickups for my high school years. Loved them. Worked on them a lot. One was as unreliable as it could get, the other was so reliable it was stupid (ironically the huge mud truck was reliable, and the 2wd truck was the POS).

I understand that. But my point is that he's going from a 12 year old truck to a 33 year old truck. Quite a bit of age difference there. lol

The Ram will likely be more reliable, but could be less comfy. That's just what I'm pointing out.

And I still think you should have kept the Power Wagon....

Just giving my contribution to the topic.

You only saw the pictures that showed what was good about it. I do not regret trading it for my '06 400ex.
