Brake dilemma
#11
Brand new transmission, less than 25k on it....but I do have to say at this time I do have two different size tires but when I did have the same tires on it it did the same. It is a good idea and I will try it once I dig in to this. This is a 2wh drive also it was doing this on the original tranny as well. Hmm...yea I will try this tho..makes sense. Btw what is the speedo?

2 different size tires where?
front vs rear - ok on 2wd, and rear only abs. i'm not sure about 4wh abs...
LR vs RR - ok on non-limited slip/open rear end. questionable on limited slip?
try the no-ABS test.
try the neutral test and rule them out.
i do know that when i stomp the brakes for an emergency stop - the real panic stops where you try to stomp a hole in the floorboard, my rear only ABS kicks in and its pretty violent. i think i'd rather it just lock up.

Check rear transmission mount just for S&Gs.
To determine if you have ABS on front, get build sheet from Chrysler. Also, you can look at front spindle and see if there is a sensor wired up there.
