Default 1998 dodge ram 5.2 dies when foot off is off gas

I have a 1998 dodge ram with the 5.2. Recently had a clogged cat, did exhaust work to it, and then this issue started. The RPM's will either suck down really low when I take my foot off and come back up to idle speed, and sometimes the motor will simply stall. Replaced Idle air control and TPS already, before the cat clogged up it ran perfect. Help??

Did you clean out the IAC port out good?

Did you disconnect battery when you changed out IAC and TPS?

One thing I have noticed over the years with my truck is if the battery is weak it will do this. However, for the OP, x2 on gdstock.

And that didn't solve it? If not, test TPS.
