Stearing problem with 2001 1500 slt 5.2

Default Stearing problem with 2001 1500 slt 5.2

Is thid truck know to have a power stearing problem. My truck is fairly stiff especially turning left.

only when going left?
you might try checkin the steering box, maybe someone made it to tight, there is a bolt on top with a nut on it, you undo the nut a little and then u can turn the bolt with a flathead, dont turn it much, just like 1/4 at a time, right makes it stiffer, left would loosen it some.

I would be checking fluid level before anything else. Should be at the 'full cold' mark when cold...and full.

Thanks, I check the fluid level and its fine. I will check the steering box this weekend. It has 128,000 on it. Should I consider a flush?
