First of all i wasnt being a smart a$$. i was just simpling stating that my transmission is an automatic not a manuel. if it was a manuel i wouldnt be having problems with it because i know how to work on them. ive never worked on a automatic transmission before so if i came off as a smart a$$ looks like ur just gonna have to get over it "wildman"

We all had to learn somehow and believe me I have asked tons of questions that many might consider stupid. So don't worry about it and just ask and learn. There are tons of folks on here that have a ton of knowledge and will share it but if you cop an attitude they will clam up.

Also download a factory service manual here https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...e-manuals.html and do some reading. Also use the search feature here and on other truck related forums and read the responses you come up with.

To the OP....The suggestion that you shift your automatic "manually" was for diagnostic reasons, not confusion about what tranny you have.

There's a wealth of knowledge on this forum, too bad you threw it away.
