Have you tried manually shifting it?

Remove the 8 Pin Connector from the driver side of the transmission, you'll HAVE to shift manually, see if it works any differently.

There should be an 8 pin connector on the driver side of the transmission, when you unplug it you DISABLE the automatic function, and you'll HAVE to use the gear selector to shift up/down....

Instead of being a SMART A$$ when people ask you to try something you do not understand swallow your pride and ASK!!!! We all had to learn somehow and believe me I have asked tons of questions that many might consider stupid. So don't worry about it and just ask and learn. There are tons of folks on here that have a ton of knowledge and will share it but if you cop an attitude they will clam up.

Also download a factory service manual here https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...e-manuals.html and do some reading. Also use the search feature here and on other truck related forums and read the responses you come up with.

The only stupid question is the one that isn't asked.
