Default Pitman Arm

Curious about this:

I tried to purchase a pitman arm, none of the auto parts stores I tried carried the part, Napa, Autozone, Advanced Auto, Carquest, Pepboys.

I went to the dealer today and I was told the part is discontinued.

I'm curious if anyone knows why this would be... I still see plenty of these trucks on the road.

In any event I ordered the Moog part from RockAuto..... supposedly it's in stock.

That's because they very rarely go bad. Assuming you have a 4x4? It's just a piece of bent steel, not much can go bad. Add the info to your profile and sig please.

So, you didn't need the pitman arm, but needed a tie rod end instead?
