there is nothing wrong with running synthetic oil or switching back and forth between synthetic and dinosaur oil...

the bs about synthetic harming gaskets is just an old wives tale.

the difference between dino oil and synthetic...dino oil is refined into what it is...synthetic is chemically engineered to exact specs of what it is...

an analogy: dino oil would be a cast engine block, synthetic would be a billet engine block. both are engine blocks...one just got molded and trimmed into what it is, the other was precision machined into what it is...

that is the difference between the oils...

I've also heard that most dino has more cleaners than synthetic. What's up with that?

Don't do that. Its unnecessary and potentially harmful.
Way back when, ATF did have a higher "detergent" level, not so much anymore!
