Ok so here's the scoop. I own a '94 ram 1500 magnum 4x4 singlecab long wheelbase. say what you will but the truck was left to me by my late grandfather. i got the truck a couple years back in my younger years went mud riding well no more ive started to tear the truck apart and i want to redo the whole truck from the ground up. someone has done this before im sure i want to take the 5.9 out and build it to the best i can but i dont know where to even begin looking for cams, heads, lifters , none of that i could use input. the turning wrenches i can handle but i dont even know where to begin looking for engine parts or what im even looking for i would like to see some good numbers come off the ole 5.9 but of course thats with it being completely gone trough.....help please

SummitRacing is a fairly good place to get most of those parts.

Redneck ram recently rebuilt a motor for his truck, beefed it up a good bit, here's his build thread
https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...ld-thread.html

It will give some ideas on parts and where he got them (I think).

Others will chime in...

What do you want to be able to do with the truck? Basically, where do you want it to build power? Keep in mind, it's a truck... it's never going to be fast, but, it can be powerful. Low-and mid range is generally a good place to have your power for a truck that works.
