Default Floor air partially engaged?

I noticed last week that my floor vents are partially on. On all settings they are blowing some air with more obviously on the floor setting.

What might this be an indicator of?

Blend door shot (resides under the glove box). Heater treater bushing replacement.

Vac line could have gained a new hole some place. Check all them buggers out.

Where's the vacuum line that goes to it?

And there any way I can get to the blend door without yanking the dash out?

It may not necessarily be the line going to it, but yes check it. This one is located on the firewall, passenger side. You'll see it go in towards the hvac unit as well as other lines going elsewhere on your rig. Such as to the intake manifold, cruise control, etc. Also check down underneath and look at the 2 lines going from the front axle CAD to the transfer case.

You don't have to yank the dash out....yet.

Search on Youtube my username, and find the video I have for heater treater.

Looked at vacuum lines, they all look good. I don't have wild vents, as my air isn't going toward the defrosters. It just seems like something is in its way. Recirc door is working fine. Blender for the heat is working fine.

ugh...

Well, after some googling, it looks like I might have the early-early beginnings of wild vents. Argh.
