I just replaced fuel pump ( cuz I broke it ) same problem cranks but won't start. I took out precat o2 still no change. I will go buy a fuel pressure gauge.

Should have done that to begin with. Not that it helps, now that you bought a new pump, but atleast it will give you a place to start.

Default 01' ram 5.9 fuel problem

Ok guys, fuel pressure I got 50psi with key on. It dropped to 45 with key off so............? Aargh

Well you have fuel preasure and spark, just not getting fuel to engine.
Sounds to me like injectors are not working.
It could be bad cam sensor.
DId you check to see if there were any trouble codes?

I don't have a the tool to check for codes. If I buy 1, what do you suggest?

for the 01, read the codes in the digital odometer.
turn ignition on - off - on - off - on
wait a moment for the odometer display.

Oh and realize i put cam sensor I ment crank sensor.

Have you done any other work on it before this started?

Check distributor cap and rotor. Check cam sensor inside disty and make sure it is secure. This controls injector pulse. Make sure electrical connection is good. Does cap and rotor look clean?

Check spark at plugs. Is it a good strong spark?
