Default Pan drop, advice please...?
I'm going to be dropping the pan on my 360 so I can reseal around it, I'm also going to shoot a coat of paint on it, is there anything that really needs to be checked while I'm in there? It only has about 106k on it

Check your oil pump anyway. Clean the screen off and look up in there to make sure nothing seems amiss.

Saying "reseal" , you mean using a new gasket I hope? Anyway, you might also think about replacing the rear main seal while the pan is off. http://www.pavementsucks.com/tech/rearmain.php

I was going to use a new gasket and a little blue rtv, I know you can go overboard with that, I just don't want it to ever leak again

I wouldn't use any rtv on that thick rubber oil Pan gasket
