Default GPS Unit

I've been looking around for a very simple and plain GPS unit. Not one with a screen and a million buttons, but more or less just the computer part. I have a screen, and I want one that I can hook it up and go. I've been having a hell of a time finding something like this. The closest thing I can find is some of the units out of BMW's and Lexus's. All those need the special waring harness to go with them. But I might have to go that route and just figure out how to hook it up. Any of you have any ideas???

Default RE: GPS Unit

What aobut those Radio head units or add on GPS that have a GPS computer located remotely and use the radio head unit or another screen mounted in the dash?
When I was looking for a GPS unit, I ended up buying a Garmin IQ3600, because I need to use between 2 cars.
This was my second choice:
