hey guys, ive decided to make this beast more bada#$ but i need some help. its my first time choosing and installing a "lift" on my 1996 ram 1500 mag 5.9l sport stock everything or any truck that is, sold my trans am and went mopar lol so my knowledge with this modification is low. i just want to know whats the best brand, size (tires/rims&lift), type of lift, and if theres any installing tips or warnings i should know about to make this a smooth project. thanks guys
How big of tires do you want to run?
You can do 3" max on suspension before it starts getting REALLY expensive. Fair few folks just go with spacers on the front, or, install 2500/diesel springs. (1.5 to 2" of lift)

Like heyyou said. Need to know what tires you want to run. You can squeeze 35s on a 2 or 3 in lift but a 5.5 is better for them. If you go to a 5.5 or bigger do long arms. But they require a bit of drilling , cutting, and welding to do it the right way.
You left out an important piece of info in your post... your truck is 2wd.
There's only a few options for 2wd's such as this: http://performancelifts.com/Fabtech-...-6-5-Lift.html
