Strange starting problem related to remote start kill switch
So last fall, I got in my truck after remote starting it. Forgot the key. When I hit the brake the truck stopped running as the theft protection of the remote start kicked in.
My cousin was with me, he is an excellent mechanic and works for Mopar.
The truck didn't want to start. Just kept turning over. FInally it started but ran extremely rough, I had to keep my foot on the gas pedal and feather it. We stopped at a restaurant to eat. Went in and ate, came out, truck started right up and ran perfect.
Fast-forward to this past Sunday. The truck has been sitting because I have a front caliper froze up. I started it just to let it run, used the remote start. It ran about 5 minutes. I then, being lazy, just opened the door and hit the brake to kill the engine.
This morning, went out to take the truck in to have the caliper fixed. Truck won't start. Just turns over. I tried for several minutes to see if I could get it started, no luck. I ran out of time and had to get to work.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?

My guess is fuel. I think the kill switch sends stops power to the fuel pump. Resulting in air in the line. When I tried starting it today I could hear the fuel pump kick on first.
FRUSTRATING!
