Zero Spark
I swapped the frame on my truck a while ago in my driveway, it took a while to get it done but I got it, however, when I went to start the truck, of course, the truck didn't start. It would crank but it didn't get fuel or spark. I checked everything, double checked everything again, and then checked everything again only to find no solutions as to why I wasn't able to start my engine in spite of all the searching I did as to the reasons why.
After exhausting all possibilities, in the end, I began looking towards the Engine Computer and it just so turned out to be that the PCM (Engine Computer) went bad from sitting too long, improper connection/disconnection during assembly/disassembly of the truck.
If you know of anyone with a Dodge that matches up with yours, in regards to year as well as engine type, transmission build, etc., you might want to consider testing to see if putting your PCM in their vehicle creates the same effect. ( http://www.car-part.com ) is a good place to find a new PCM if you find that you need one. I got mine for about 50 bucks when I realized I needed one.
Just be sure that you disconnect the negative terminal of your battery first before even thinking about tinkering with the PCM!
Any potential electrical shock to that computer from static discharge, battery, or whatever could fry the electronics inside there. It's just like working on a normal desktop or laptop; power must be turned off, and any potential static must be safely discharged to ground otherwise those potential shocks have the potential to damage sensitive hardware which will ruin your day with massive headaches...
