5 Volts from 02 Sensor Signal Wire?
Symptoms include:
Difficulty starting, rough running, backfiring, and stalling under load or acceleration of any significant amount.
MIL Codes:
P0132 - O2 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank1, Sensor1),
P0138 - O2 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank1, Sensor2)
P0141 - Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Heater Malfunction
I'm looking at the wiring harness at this point and am going to begin inspecting that next.
What I expect are some melted wires but I am hesitant to start tearing up my wiring harness. Has anyone ever experienced a short between supply voltage wires and the O2 Sensor wiring, or possibly a short to ground? Any input that could lead me in the right direction is appreciated...

I originally suspected that my O2 sensors reached the end of their lives and so I replaced them with NTK O2 sensors less then 12,000 miles ago. With the NTKs outputting strange signals close to 5 volts, I tried getting another set of sensors. Purchased Bosch O2 sensors with harness adapter fully factory assembled and I am finding the exact same scenario with the 5 volts output signals.
Looks like a nice new unique situation for the forum; Meh...

I have a snap on scanner to display readouts of codes, operational status of sensor signals generated, and to clear them.
Electrical tester and I are becoming really well acquainted but no luck yet.
So far, this issue has been taking me to school, giving me swirlies in the girls restroom, and then beating my *** near the flagpole.
Oh well, "Don't let em make you, worried, keep swinging at these suckers til you buried..."

300 to 3000 ohms resistance between the two O2 sensor black wires with white stripes and the ASD relay inside the fuse panel in the engine compartment. Those wires are supposed to be a straight shot from the sensor directly to the ASD relay. There shouldn't be any more resistance between those wires and the ASD relay then that of a ground connection to the negative battery terminal which would normally be under 1 ohm of resistance, so it is now looking as if the extra resistance is disturbing my O2 sensor heater circuits.
With such a significant amount of resistance in between the sensors and the ASD relay my hopes are that my problems will be over when I resolve this issue in that area. Hopefully I'll get it and that will be the end of this nightmare scenario.

The Power Distribution Center (PDC) is serviced
as a unit with the headlamp and dash wire harness.
If any internal circuit of the PDC or the PDC housing
is faulty or damaged, the entire PDC and headlamp
and dash wire harness unit must be replaced.
