Default Need an airhat asap

Hello all, I just bought this truck earlier this week, and I've replaced all fluids, an output shaft seal, trans mount, adjusted steering screw, fixed A/C (they had the relay and fuse in the wrong place ), cruise control (broken vacuum hose), and done a few cosmetic things. Tonight, I had a couple hours and decided to clean the IAC since it idles at 1200 in neutral (all the time at idle since it's a manual). I've read about the plenum leak, and was hoping it wouldn't be that. The good, no great, news is that the plenum has been FIXED! I did the telescoping magnet test, and no sticking, plus it looks all clean down there! Bad news is that the airhat is in pieces at the seal. The PO had tried to seal around it with red RTV, but who knows if it was working. Looks like he did it after a long night of , and ended up getting RTV all on the throttle body and everything. It looks like I got lucky and none of it actually made it into the intake, but who knows? Anyhow, I figure there's a good chance this contraption was the cause of my high idle. I'm going to pull off the throttle body and do a good cleaning (and get a new gasket). I need an airhat pronto though. Does any place except the dealer have these on hand? I may go by the pull a part tomorrow and hope I find one, but I wouldn't mind buying new. Sorry, for the long rant, and TIA for any help.

Try the junkyard first.
Dealer would be $$$$$
Or you could get a 14 x 3.

Come to think of it, I'm not even sure it's stock. It has a chrome tube on it and a box mounted on the passenger side to keep it out of heat. The cone filter looks like a K&N, but it doesn't say K&N anywhere on it (I know K&N thinks too much of themselves to allow that). So, you're saying I can just fit a universal old school type round 14x3 air cleaner on it? Any certain brands I to get, or just buy one at a parts store? thanks.

If you do get a 14x3 or whatever it is you want, you WILL lose some bottom end. I did. Not much to really complain about but enough to notice its now missing some.

I have a Spectre 14x3, haven't noticed any loss of bottom end.

Well went to the junkyard and made a so-so ram air system. Took a single snorkel round enclosed air cleaner from a 98 Ram van 3.9L. I also took the little screw in device that moves the stud to the center, and the oil breather plus vacuum line. Got some air hose from an old 3.0L Lebaron, and some ducting pieces from a Cherokee (I think, can't remember now). Altogether, it came out to $25. Add in a $7 air filter and new TB and flange gaskets, and it comes to under $40. I also had to go back to get the TB bolts since the PO put a TB spacer on it. The air cleaner wouldn't clear, so it had to go, and the bolts were then too long.
The snorkel points toward the passenger side front, and has tubing going out in front of the radiator on passenger side with a wide mouth duct ending to scoop air. It works pretty well. I can feel suction on the end while idling.
Unfortunately, my problem got worse. Now instead of 1200rpm idle, I'm at 1400. I cleaned the TB well, and also the IAC per the DIY on here. What is the deal? Again, it's not the plenum because I checked and it's already fixed (aluminum plate). No codes, and I can't hear hissing like vacuum leak, but my exhaust is pretty loud. Any ideas?
