Default Gauges stop working randomly

This one has me stumped, I did the plenum about two weeks ago and after that the gauges will stop working randomly, I have already done the test where you hold the trip odometer button and flip the key and everything tested fine, it mostly does it on startup but it will also occasionally do it while running, it you shut it off and restart it it will be fine and it will correct itself after a minute, also the airbag and abs dummy lights come on when this happens

I already checked those, when I did a search on this it seemed like some other people had similar problems and I didn't see anyone come up with a solution

Check them again. Especially the ones up by the power steering pump. Make sure they are clean, and tight.

are you getting the words "no bus" in the odometer.
remove, clean, and retighten the grounds at the PS pump bracket.

also - beside the battery in the power box, there is a large white plug with a bolt in the middle that will seem like its stripped. disconnect battery, remove that big plug and reseat it a couple of times to scratch the tarnish off.

Checked all grounds and they're good, ill go look at the white plug in the fuse box and I'm not getting a "no bus" thing either.

I have heard that some people have problems with corrosion at the PDC. Maybe check there. Personally I hate intermittant electrical issues. But who doesn't.

Gotcha, I've always called it the fuse box, I reseated the white plug with the screw and triple checked all grounds, then reset everything by unhooking the battery, ill just have to see if it does it again
