I'm not trying to thread jack but I have a question, my truck does that, at highway speeds (55mph) when the engine is turning about 1500 rpms it will surge to about 1700 and the right back down, I never thought a whole lot about it but is it actually slipping?
temperature dependant slipping, def a tc about to give it up...when they finally reach that point you'll be lucky to get a thousand miles of drive time left, start saving.
