Alright that's what I'll do but should I go ahead and replace the sway bar? It's rusted to s**t.

It is on a lifted truck and the owner before me kinda threw a kit together so I don't know if that will make any difference.

If the sway bar bothers you, yank it off and clean it up. If it cleans up fine, good. If not, get a new one. lol

Well I'm going to coat the frame after this so looks arnt a big deal I just want it to function right. Anyone coat their frame in vht?

Dunno about vht, most on here will swear by POR15.

Read a lot of bad about por I was going to try Eastwood but found vht and a guy did his cummins in it, it looked great the post video looked great its 7.99 a can when I do it ill post some pics if I remember and if anyone wants to compare. But anyone else use vht chassis paint?

I treated my frame with phosphoric acid to help neutralize the rust first, since my truck once was a snow plow truck. Phosphoric acid is readily available at hardware stores, Home Depot, etc. I then washed off the acid and coated the frame with Zero-Rust (http://www.zero-rust.com/). Zero-Rust isn't cheap, but it works great!
