Default Weak blower motor?

I just poured $300 into my A/C. I finally got it charged, and the system seems to work fine, but I don't get much airflow. I hold my hand in front of the vent and it's nice and cold, but even when I aim the vents at myself on High, I can barely feel it. Is it the motor? The resistor? It there a higher velocity upgrade for it? It dawned on me that my defrosters have been lagging, too....

Check and see if your vents aren't doing what they are supposed to. Put the selector on the dash vents, and see if you are still getting airflow from the defrost, and foot vents.

Verify that your blower actually changes speeds for each setting..... May not hurt to drop the blower motor out, and make sure it isn't stuffed full of leaves and such as well.

I have my different speeds, and I have just re-worked the hvac box for the evaporator, so no trash in the fan cage. The functions work and change from dash to defrosters to floor, I just do not seem to be moving much air. Last winter, it seemed to take a long time to defrost my windshield, do motors slow as they age?

Take the motor out and give it a spin. Should be nice and smooth, and spin fairly easily. If one or the other are not true, replace it.

Also make sure all connections are good. To test and see if the motor will actually blow more air, you could disconnect it from the resistor block, and just ground the wire coming from the motor. Should spin full blast.
