Default Need Some Tips On Distributor Cap and Rotor Change

I am thinking I need to change my cap and rotor - 62000 miles. I know where it is - thats the problem. Any help you guys can give me on how to get to the freakin thing and R&R it would be appreciated. I have changed them on other vehicles many times, just not on this one due to it's inaccessibility. Also, what are good aftermarket plug wires and how much do they cost? Thanks in advance!

I did mine with autolite professional series wires and they worked great. As for replacing was not that hard just crawled in and removed wires cap and all and then put it back the same way.

It takes a while to do, but its not to hard. I just crawled up on my crossmember thing (across the radiator, and kinda layed on the engine. It is hard to see, so you just have to do it by touch mostly.

You might want to read this before you start. http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl654h.htm
I changed mine out last Friday and my truck is still running rough. I am going to take corrective action this weekend.
